The journal publishes papers that reflect the rich variety of ongoing clinical research in gastroenterology and hepatology, in particular in the areas of inflammatory bowel diseases, NAFLD and NASH, functional gastrointestinal disorders, gastrointestinal and hepatopancreatobiliary cancers, and viral hepatitis.
